    Það var mjög vinsælt hérna einu sinni að vera í síðum hlýrabol undir öllum peysum,skyrtum og bolum og það var jafnvel gengið svo langt að meira að segja sumir, þar á meðal undirrituð, fóru að búa til hin undarlegustu stykki  sem áttu að virðast vera síður hlýrabolur. En nú get ég varla farið í flík án þess að girða hana á einhvern hátt í buxurnar eða pilsið sem ég er í við!

Summer dream

Heeellú... Þar sem vorið er komið og sumarið handan við hornið og ég er svo totally komin í sumar skapi. Þá hef ég ákveðið að skella hér eitt blogg um það eða þannig, á Páskadeginum sjálfa. Já Gleðileg Páska :)

Ég er þessi manneskja sem til helst vera bara ég, alltaf og fyrir framan alla. Þá vil ég helst ekki vera undir áhrifum neins með neinu og þá sérstaklega með tískuna og þess vegna hef ég ekki verið að fylgjast með hvað verður inn í sumar. En mér finnst það vera nú frekar augljóst, því að því miður kemst  ég ekki fram hjá því að rekast á hluti í dagblöðum og sérstakelga inná netinu.

I love how the sun and the heat could bring up such a desire in me to travel and well... shopping for some A LOT of new clothes heheh. I and D are going to the giant Apple in the beginning of June and I seriously can't wait! And hoping that N-Korea wont send any bomb before we go or while we are there and well not AT ALL! would be great! done talking about that! 

I am still making my "must buy-list" and it seems like I would have to win a big fat lotto or find some billionaire out there to finish my list for me. No problem at all o.O! I just have to be hot right? heheh

Pretty little fashion

   Ég gjörsamlega elska sápuóperuþætti og ég get algjörlega sökkt í mér svona þætti. Er forfallinn aðdáandi Gossip Girl og tískunnar í þættinum sem spilaði þar stórt hlutverk. En þar sem þeir eru hættir þá hef ég dottið inn í Pretty little liars, en þeir eru sjúklega skemmtilegir og spennandi ( er Alison lifandi?? whatup? ) OG það er álíka jafn skemmtilegt að fylgjast með fötunum í þeim þáttum eins og í GG. Ég uppgötvaði eina tískublogg síðu fyrir ári síðan (www.youknowyoulovefashion.com ) sem er mjög skemmtilegt að fylgjast með, sérstaklega ef maður er sjónvarpsþáttasjúkur eins og ég. Þau blogga semsagt um tískuna í hinum ýmsu sjónvarpsseríum á mjög skemmtilegan og líflegan hátt.


     I love soap operas and TV series made for teenagers. I especially loved Gossip Girl while they were running and it was such great fun watching the fashion in the shows. Now I have completely lost myself in series called Pretty little liars (although sadly, now I have to wait for the next season ) and the liars fashion choices is so fun to look at. Since they are just ''normal" ehm..teenagers. They usually choose clothes that regular girls can wear. However ! they can go a little cray cray sometimes but that just makes it more fun. I found this blog a year ago : www.youknowyoulovefashion.com and there they recap on Tv-shows and judge on the fashion and it's really fun to read!

  




Hanna's style  is kind of trendy meets glamour. Really like her style and can relate it to my own. Its girly, flirty and fun!

                   



Aria is a risk taker and has this kind of punkish/ bohemian, edgy yet sophisticated look. ( btw. love the use of a brooch on a shirt collar! )



Emily has propably the most normal clothing style. She is kind of a tomb boy and usually wears a t-shirt matched with a leather jacket and combat boots. (cool)

          


Spencer has this preppy style which I love. She often wears knee high socks and skirts and lots of blazers,plaids and animal print shirts. ( adorbs)


But like I said before, they can sometimes go terribly wrong. Sometimes on boarder of a train wreck wrong! For example :


what up with that neckace and belt Hanna? and what is with this hat Aria?

However that's what makes it more fun. You can really learn to expirement with layering, mixing of prints and fabrics and colour clashing (that either works or doesn't ) from these shows! And I really love that the girls all have different styles. OH! and their hair is always and I mean Always Perfect!! like seriously! I would sell my soul for their hair anytime!!

Hats Galore

  
     Hattífattar! já ég elska hatta  og það var eiginlega uppáhalds tískudrósin mín hún Blake Lively sem sýndi mér hversu kúl þeir væru! Flottir í öllum veðrum (nema kannski í miklum vindi því þá eru þeir alls ekki sniðugir, fjúkandi útum allt) Ég hélt alltaf að þeir væru bara hentugir fyrir sumarið því einhvernveginn ólst maður upp við það að sólhattar væru einu hattarnir. Þvert á móti, hattatískan hefur verið endurlífguð og ég hoppa af gleði yfir því. Hattur er sönn tískuyfirlýsing, enda það fyrsta sem fólk tekur eftir.


       I hereby declare my love for hats. And I thank one of my fashion Icons ( and spirit animal ) Blake Lively for that, because damn can she rock those hats! I used to think of them only suitable for sunny weather ( don't know why, it just kinda stuck with me ) but now I see how lovely they are in every season. A hat is the most noticeable fashion item anyone can wear and the old saying goes 'if you want to get ahead and get noticed, then get a hat '.

The Lazy Me.

Af einhverju ástæðu hef ég verið mjög löt undanfarna daga, eða eigum við að segja mánuðir. Ég komst þá að því að leti föt getur verið mjög smart en óendanlega þæginleg á sama tíma, sem er náttla best í heimi! Nú ferðast ég einungis um í kósí fötum og reyndar náttla þegar maður drullar sér nú út á lífið þá kannski dreg ég aðeins inn magan og læt eins og fínasta daman á svæðinu. Nóg um það.

One of my favorite looks of all time is street look, street fashion or whatever you call it. I love every single detail of this outfit. Nothing more to say about thaaaat.

Polka Dots

   Doppótt ? já takk! þessi nýji stíll er farin að vinna mig á sitt band og ég held ég sé jafnvel að verða ástfangin. Munstur sem hefur alla tíð verið einungis á kjólum og barnafötum en hefur nú breiðst útum allan fataskápinn! Og ég verð reyndar að segja að mér finnst munstrið mikið flottara á hinum óhefðbundnu flíkum. Polka doppurnar eru útum allt og stíllinn getur verið mjög einfaldur með aðeins smá ögn af doppum, svartar og hvítar er klassískt og litríkar eru skemmtilegar og lífga upp á vorhretið eða ef maður þorir þá er hægt að fara alla leið og setja doppur á doppur!


Polka dots = Yes please! This 2013 trend is starting to grow on me and I think I'm in love. Now it's not only on baby clothes or flamenco-ish dresses but on pants, sweaters, shirts, T-shirts, pantyhose and even on your nails! Everyone is embrasing this style and it's easy to incorporate it into your wardrobe, weither you go with the soft small black and white polka dots or go full on with the big and colourful polka dots!  Or even polka dots on polka dots which can be amaaazeballs, if done right!
